On our last full day in Utah, we decided to go check out the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan. We learned that the temple is actually the second temple in that town, joining the Jordan River Temple, making South Jordan the only town in the whole world with two temples in it. Pretty cool! It is the 130th temple worldwide and the 13th in Utah. The exterior of the temple reminded us a lot of the Boston Massachusetts Temple with its impressive granite. The interior of the temple was absolutely beautiful with Egyptian and Moroccan limestone flooring and goregous oak throughout the entire building. Most impressive was the Spirit of the Lord that was there. It will be fun to tell the babies that they got to go in the temple in their first year of life. We hope to take them back to the temple in a couple of years when the temple in Philadelphia is built with Uncle Brett, who lives in city there.
The babies LOVED the temple but were tuckered out!
We're glad Granny and Grandpa Dave were able to join us at the temple! Nonna was with us too but didn't want her picture taken.

Wow you have so many facts!!! We toured as well and it was so impressive! You were smart to bring the babies with you. We left them at home with Grammy and now I regret it. Lovely family picture!!
