We had the opportunity while we were out in Utah to meet up with one of Eric's friends from his mission to Florida and decided to bite the bullet by meeting him and his family at a restaurant! I'll admit, I was a bit nervous about it because I didn't know how the babies would behave but again, I was pleasantly surprised! They really were very well behaved and seemed to enjoy themselves wholeheartedly. We met Jeremiah, his wife, Meleisa, and their children, Hunter (4.5 years old) and Aspyn (17 months old) at the Olive Garden in Murray, half way in between where we were staying in Pleasant Grove and where they live in Ogden.
The restaurant was very accommodating, making sure we had 4 high chairs, water for sippy cups and they even put us in our own step-up room that looked like an Italian dining room! The babies were excited to eat the yummy breadsticks from the restaurant, especially the inside parts, as you can see from the leftovers on the table.
Hunter was really cute with Jamison. He insisted on sitting next to him and would feed Jamison pieces of bread in between hugs and tickles under the chin. Jamison was equally enamoured by Hunter! They are two cute blonde buddy boys!
The girls had a great time and got a lot of attention from people passing by since they were at the end of the table, thinking they were twins. Next time, we'll have to put them by Aspyn and see how they interact.
We had a nice visit and a delicious meal! It had been a couple years since our last visit so it was great to catch up. It was also good to learn that we can take the babies out to eat with us without too much stress. Of course, we had the diaper bag filled to the hilt with all of the feeding accessories, plenty of diapers and a handful of toys but the babies were content the whole time and fell asleep on the ride home, tired out from all of the fun.

How did I miss all these new posts??? Isnt it nice to know you have a little freedom and can take the babies out to eat now?! YAY!
