BIRTHDAY TIME
Did you realize that the babies turned 7 months on Sunday?! Where has the time gone? It seems like we just brought them home from the hospital! Now we are looking forward to Spring so we can get out of the house more. Since we don't get out much, I decided to do a little photo shoot for their 7th month. The girls looked so sweet in their yellow and white dresses and our boy was such a hunk in his yellow and blue outfit! It's a good thing we stay inside most of the time because the dressier clothing I have for the babies in their current sizes are actually spring/summer attire. It would have been nice if there were more smiles and less drool in the photos but they are such cuties regardless!
CHOW TIME
The babies have begun eating baby food! We didn't have bananas on hand to start with so we chose pears instead. We have since moved on to bananas and will start their first veggie tomorrow - most likely carrots, sweet potatoes or squash. Kiera has been our best consumer of solids. Jamison does pretty well but is a little monkey with bananas being his favorite. Krista hardly will open her mouth but we give her a few tastes. Below you can see each baby's reaction to pears!

TALK TIME
All of the babies have become even more vocal in the last week but especially Kiera! She is constantly talking to us, herself, her toys, etc. Instead of only vowel sounds, she is now vocalizing consonant sounds. While she is laying in the crib, we can hear her through the monitor jabbering away while she waits for us to get up and feed her. We're amazed that she hasn't been waking up brother and sister with all of the chatter! It looks like she is trying to be like her mommy, who began talking at 8 months! Jamison loves to hear himself squeal and coo, which sometimes can be a bit high-pitched. We think he'll be talking like Kiera in no time. Krista has found her voice more but still is a bit more reserved than her siblings. It is interesting to see (and hear) how the babies change from day to day.

PLAY TIME
If you haven’t seen our living room, it is now officially an amusement park! Between the two swings, baby play place gym, bouncer, 3 bumbos, exersaucer and jumperoo, there’s hardly any room to walk! The babies absolutely love it as they rotate from place to place. Their very favorite has to be the rainforest jumperoo. Each baby has their own style of using it and it’s so fun to watch them in action. We’ll have to dedicate an entire post – an ode to the jumperoo, complete with video clips so you can see for yourself.

Even though the babies have been able to roll from tummy to back for almost two months, they have not mastered rolling from back to tummy but not because they aren't trying! We think Krista is going to be the first to do this successfully. She has gotten close numerous times and hangs out on her side a lot. Jamison loves to roll onto his back and gives a good giggle and a wide smile to show his pride for such an accomplishment. Kiera is most likely going to be the first to crawl. She can hold herself up for about 10 minutes and is trying to scoot. It won't be long now before we're chasing her all over the place!
SITTING TIME
Krista has been showing us what a big girl she is by sitting up by herself! She loves to pull herself up from laying on her back and when she does sit, she's able to do it for up to 2 minutes! Brother and sister are practicing sitting as well but they still need support.
TEETHING TIME
All 3 babies have been threatening to cut a tooth for awhile now but no pearly whites yet! We still are having a blast changing bibs on the hour since they get so saturated with spit! You know all those cool teethers that are on the market to help sooth a teething baby's gums? Well our babies don't need those, they have monitor cords to do the trick! Despite our best efforts to keep the cord away from their little paws, the babies are still able to find the cord and put it directly into their mouth. What will they do with themselves when they come off the monitors?!

I absolutely love your posts, it is so fun to watch the triplets grow and learn. What fun with the baby food. I love how you are enjoying each and every phase, I need to do that more!
The new photos are so cute! Sorry I haven't been reading blogs the last week or so with this trip and photo jobs.
Traveling with babies is all in the planning and attitude! Really, it's just like your normal days if you think about it. The days I have planned ahead/anticipate their bottles, food, changing, naps, baths & whatever else always run smoother then the days I suddenly realize the babies are hungry or tired. Then it is all about chasing the good relaxed mood for a while.
One big tip for traveling is to take the bare minimum for yourself and over pack for the babies.
Also, going somewhere there is a washer and dryer convenient to use is a must.
Having your destination peeps borrow pack-n-plays, high chairs, toys and other normal things you need from their ward members who aren't using them is also a dream! The more normal equipment you have on vacation the easier your life will be.
Definitely plan extra time to remove and install car seats at both ends, bathroom trips, moments to catch your breat, unexpected diaper changes, feeding times, and blah blah blah.
Since you have three babies you will definitely need to buy a seat for one, but you also will not be able to sit in the same row of three if you have two lap children. There are only four oxygen masks per row in the event of an emergency. Also, you need to make sure the carseat/s you use on the airplane say FAA approved or something like it. We also bring an extra on the plane in case we can get an open seat for a lap child without paying for the seat. Gate agents & flight attendants are very nice.
We also wear the kids whenever possible. It's the fastest way to get through security even with a stroller. This is the first time we are taking the normal stroller since we took the umbrella strollers last time. I'm looking forward to it. It will fold with stuff in the bottom basket so that's where their blankets are going. More room in the suitcases!! Even thought they will be using unknown pack and plays they will have their blankets, bears and the normal music. I 'gave' the babies my Ipod when they were born & we found a travel docking station on sale for $25. You can download the entire children's songbook online!
