As I'm sure you have heard by now, the East Coast, particularly the Mid-Atlantic region, has been hit super hard by snowstorms. It has snowed 3 times in the past week with more snow in the forecast. Today, we are expected to get at least 2 feet if not more. Some are calling it the Snowpocalypse. It's also being called February Fury or as President Obama put it, Snowmageddon! Regardless of what you'd like to call it, it's apparent that we will be snowed in for many days to come.
Here's some pictures of the snow around our house. Sorry, no kid pictures because Kiera has been sporting a fever so we decided not to take them out in it, plus, they would practically get swallowed up in the snow piles and never be found again because the accumulation is so high!

I'm glad you are the family photographer to keep track of things for posterity. I admire all the folks who had to work to dig us out and the many that continued with life as usual due working in a hospital or other essential jobs. I will say that I enjoyed my unexpected winter vacation reading, watching movies, napping and eating. I even enjoyed helping your Dad shovel snow. It was nice that you got the pics of the trips enjoying the previous snow.
Love, Mom
